Dr. Shih is the real deal, no doubt. He can implement treatment plans that range from conservative to cutting-edge. He explains everything in detail, and always considers the patient's input when deciding how to proceed. I'm glad he's in my corner.

Dr Shih is caring, compassionate, super knowledgeable and tops in his field. Have now seen him for different issues in both feet over the last couple years. He has always resolved my immediate issues but at age 75 with trauma damage done , multiple times over the years, I can't expect long term miracles! Highly, highly recommend.

I have been suffering with foot pain for approximately 24 months and have seen several Drs in AZ and WA. After my 1st visit with Dr Shih today, my pain went from an 8 to a 2. I can’t give a long term review yet, but I am enjoying my reduced pain day

Dr Shih is a very up to date and talented podiatrist. I looked at his resume before making an appt. His office is efficient, clean and friendly. I have been having generalized leg pain for some time. He suggested a mild form of lithotripsy treatments x3 ($150 each out of pocket) might help. I asked for some literature to read before I would pay for it myself (I am an RN). I expressed my concern that lithotripsy has traditionally given in the hospital under anesthesia! In the meantime we did the molds for my orthotics (also $475 out of pocket). I asked to have duplicates for more than one pair of shoes. I was told that would be $475 EACH PAIR!!!! (When I expressed my complete shock the assistant came back and told be it would be 10% off for each subsequent pair!). I said NO thanks. Fast forward 2 weeks: I do like my orthotics. They are excellent. The process was so simple: press your feet in a box of moldable pink clay material! I have gotten several emails asking if my treatment was acceptable at Dr Shih's. I never asked for the literature for the lithotripsy again as I left the office without it (being a little stunned over the prices of the orthotics. I have an appt with an Orthopedic MD covered fully by my insurance.
