Disrespectful and unreasonable regarding their noshow policy and scheduling. The scheduled me with a practitioner and called to change the provider even though i could only be seen by the doctor I scheduled with. Called back a half hour later and they said my doctor, who id been seeing for a year and had an open treatment plan with was gone from the practice. No explanation. When i called to have a visit with a new doctor they were very rude. They said i had a no call no show that had an extenuating circumstance which my previous now gone foctor had dismissed and a current noshow for missing the appointment they had changed. They said if i missed on more appointment for the rest of my life id be dismissed. Completely irrational considering the circumstances. Trisha , the office manager is an absolute alligator. Shed be more suited to running a police precinct.

This place is dirty and unprofessional. If you need reliability in your care its a terrible option. They hung me out to dry when i desperately need care. Beware!

Dr. Jen Williamson is the best ND I’ve had the privilege to be treated by. She’s brilliant, cares about her patients, and educates at every turn. She found things in my labs my MD ignored, helped me through a crisis, got me back into balance, and did so with the grace and ease of a true healer. I’ve always felt seen and heard by Jen and am so grateful for her knowledge, expertise, and kindness.

I knew finding a holistic approach to medicine was what I was looking for, and finding Dr. Jackie was the best thing ever.

I came to her to seek help with some anxiety, and nutritional needs, as well as overall body balance.

At first appointment I instantly felt the warmth her office and whole self brings, it's the most comfortable space and she offers the most inviting presence to be able to open up to and receive the kind of advice that is not only extremely helpful, but shows that she truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Jackie B is truly an exception in the primary care field. I'd come to expect most experiences with medical professionals to leave me feeling dismissed and directionless, but that narrative started to shift during my first visit with her at Avalon. Dr. Jackie's greatest strengths as a primary care provider lie in her natural abilities to listen, to empathize without judgement or condescension, and to enthusiastically and collaboratively design an action plan with her patients. While none of these qualities should make Jackie so unique as a care provider, it's the unfortunate reality that many of us, especially female-identifying folks, live in. In just two visits, she was able to diagnose and create an accessible, approachable treatment plan for a number of deficiencies that other providers failed to notice. The experience has been not only validating, but healing both literally and figuratively. Burlington is BEYOND lucky to call her one of our own.

I feel so lucky to have found Avalon Natural Medicine. I've had chronic issues for years that all of my previous PCP's either minimized, ignored, or were unable to diagnose and treat. Working with the various doctors here I've been able to get much needed relief from debilitating symptoms. On top of that, I am treated with respect and feel safe sharing information with Dr. Jen and Dr. Jackie who I've experienced as queer, trans, and fat friendly/affirming, which is rare.
